Opened on November 10, 2022, in the new Concourse C of Hamad International Airport, The Orchard is a 10,000 m² indoor tropical garden conceived as the heart of Qatar's aviation hub. More than 300 trees and 25,000 plants, imported from sustainably managed forests in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, grow beneath a grid-shell roof that maximizes natural light while reducing air-conditioning needs. A 268 m² water pool and nearly 1.2 kilometers of ultra-high-resolution digital screens complete a setting designed to soothe travelers between flights.
