Opened in 2015 next to the Dubai Miracle Garden, this cluster of retractable, climate-controlled domes is billed as the largest covered butterfly garden in the world. More than 15,000 butterflies from 26 species fly amid tropical vegetation, in an artificial climate recreated in the heart of the Emirati desert. The domes can open to ventilate the structure naturally when outside conditions allow.
