Greenhouses to visit in Germany

The Verrière atlas lists 6 greenhouses in Germany, built between 1701 and 2011.

Germany covers three centuries of glass architecture, from Kassel's baroque orangery to Frankfurt's Palmengarten and Berlin-Dahlem's Großes Tropenhaus, one of Europe's largest historic greenhouses. Its zoos later popularised the immersive indoor jungle, with Leipzig's Gondwanaland its most spectacular example.
