History

South of Sengawa station, a family owned a long strip of land that a metropolitan road, decided in 1990, was to cut through. To avoid uncontrolled development on either side, the owner wanted a coherent streetscape and entrusted the design to Tadao Ando, whose office agreed in 1995. This building, completed in 2004, is one of the six that the office designed on either side of the new road.

Architecture

Like the other buildings of the street, it takes up the motif of a box clad in concrete and glass, which gives the whole its unity.
