The Jevremovac Botanical Garden, laid out from 1889 in the very center of Belgrade, received its emblematic greenhouse in 1892, a gift from King Milan Obrenović. Built in Victorian style with a central dome flanked by two symmetrical wings, it today houses nearly a thousand tropical, subtropical, and Mediterranean species. Fully restored in 2014, it has since been recognized as part of the Serbian capital's cultural heritage.
