Inaugurated on October 5, 1991, this three-domed Art Nouveau greenhouse openly draws on London's Crystal Palace and overlooks a French-style garden laid out below. It shelters species from Brazil's Atlantic Forest, one of the country's most threatened ecosystems, and has since become the most recognizable image of the city of Curitiba.
