Greenhouses to visit in Poland

The Verrière atlas lists 6 greenhouses in Poland, built between 1785 and 1961.

Poland has a network of municipal “palmiarnie” that is rare in Europe: Poznań, Gliwice, Wałbrzych, Łódź and Zielona Góra each maintain their own palm house, often rebuilt or modernised after the war. Warsaw adds the neoclassical orangery of Łazienki, a witness to 18th-century court culture.
